Marching Band
The Bridgewater Raritan High School Marching Band is a co-curricular offering open to all students grades 9-12. The Marching Band is the most visible and largest of all co-curricular groups. It is a seasonal activity that begins in the late summer and ends in early November. The marching band is made up of wind instrumentalists, percussionists, and the color guard. The marching band makes regular appearances at BRHS varsity football games and runs its own competitive season between September and November on Saturdays in addition to participation in the annual John Basilone Parade and Memorial Day Parade.

The 2021 Season is over!
The BRHS Marching Band completed their historic 2021 season with a phenomenal State Championship performance at The College of New Jersey. The band relentlessly finished their competitive season with their best foot forward and as a result, the band earned FIRST PLACE and were crowned the 2021 NJMBDA CLASS AA STATE CHAMPIONS while also taking home awards for Best Music & Best Overall Effect. The students and the staff are so proud of the growth of the ensemble in this very special season - thank you to every parent volunteer who helped support the kids in this remarkable journey over the past few months and a special thank you to every parent who helped make the State Championship event at TCNJ such an abundant success!

What's next? All marching band uniforms must be taken home, CLEANED, and stored correctly for the duration of the school year. All students are required to attend the MEMORIAL DAY PARADE on MAY 30, 2022. We may have the opportunity for some recruitment events between now and then too!
If students used a school-owned wind instrument (sousaphone, baritone, mellophone, large saxophone) for marching band that is not in perfect playing condition, students have been asked to bring it in so that we can have it serviced. If students own their own wind instrument, it has likely taken some damage over the course of the season so please make plans to have the instrument serviced as well. Guard & percussion students may keep all equipment/accessories and any changes, returns, swaps, etc. will be determined at the start of our winter seasons.
