Meet the Board
The BPA Board of Directors manages the organization. The board membership consists of a number of named roles that are outlined in the by-laws. A new board is elected at the end of each spring. Most roles have strict term limits.

Welcome to the BRHS BPA! To assist the directors and keep the organization humming, we need lots of hands on deck! Below are the most common committees where help is needed along with when we'd need you. Have questions? Ask a board member who'll be happy to help!
PIT CREW
Moving the band wherever it goes! Lots of hands are needed for the front ensemble and any marching band props (if applicable). Needed throughout the year but mostly during marching band and indoor percussion & winter guard seasons. CLICK HERE for details on the Pit Crew.

CHAPERONING
Help the band travel safely to events, especially road games and competitions. Volunteers needed Fall and Spring. A sign up genius will be created and shared out to all band families so you can choose the dates/times that work for you!

FUNDRAISING
We organize many fundraisers from restaurant nights to clothing drives to our annual car wash. Volunteers are needed all throughout the year so please contact us to get involved. We're always open to new fundraising ideas!

HOSPITALITY
Feeding the kids! The Hospitality team organizes snacks for the marching band at Home and Away events. They also take on food-as-fundraising opportunities at Winter Guard and Indoor Percussion Shows, Jazz shows, and other opportunities as they arise.

MARCHING BAND DINNERS
During the marching band season on Friday nights and Saturdays, the BPA organizes ordering dinners as a convenience to the kids. This committee organizes the menu, manages the food order, and hands out the meals to those who purchased them.

MARCHING BAND UNIFORM FITTING
Organizing the Band's stock of uniforms and parts, and getting each kid into a properly-fitting uniform. Mostly needed during band camp.

SPIRIT WEAR
Help organize the ordering and distribution of band-themed shirts, hats, jackets, and whatever else we decide to offer throughout the year.

WINTER GUARD and/or INDOOR PERCUSSION HOME SHOWS
These events need many hands to be successful! We will need food servers, traffic directors, visiting band counters, chaperones, gate guards, crowd control and parking lot control to name a few. The safety of our kids, the spectators and visiting teams depend on us. No experience is necessary. Students and siblings 16 years + are also welcome.
Selling food and beverages at this event is a HUGE fundraiser and we would not be able to do it without you! Please donate as much food and drinks as possible, it never goes to waste! If you know a small business owner or large corporation that would like to donate items, or a monetary donation, please let us know.
To help with the fundraising, we will also be inviting you to participate by sponsoring a trophy and/or advertising in our 8.5” x 11” souvenir program book.
